Business areas of ICT in social services
Penteo market analysts and Benestic have identified some areas in which ICT companies can have interesting opportunities to develop appropriate solutions for social services and with high growth potential. These areas include, among others, management software, radio frequency devices (RFID), Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Web 2.0.

Benestic supports the 9th Day of Telecommunications in Catalonia
The next September the 21th Barcelona will host the 9th Day of Telecommunications in Catalonia, aimed at professionals in the ICT sector: entrepreneurs, managers, academics, politicians and business-related ICT. Also aimed at engineering students and FP, and those with concerns to stay current in the ICT sector. This event takes the pulse of the Sector, analyzed what was the last year and is a prospect of what will be the immediate future. The panels are different presentations, exhibitions and expositions of future trends, in an easy and affordable language .

The Catalan Minister of Social Action and Citizenship, Carme Capdevila, 'connect' with Benestic in the Avante Fair
During the Avante Fair, taking place at the Fira de Barcelona, Benestic has received the supported by Carme Capdevila, Catalan Minister for Social Action and Citizenship, and Carolina Homar, General Director of the Catalan Institute of Assistance and Social Services (ICASS). The Minister has been interested for the first steps of the project and encouraged the three promoting entities to work to position the entity as a reference for the actual implementation of the ICT in the social sector.

Wednesday June 2 at 12pm presentation of Benestic in Avante Fair
On Wednesday June 2 at 12pm Benestic Foundation will be presented at the Knowledge Agora of the Avante Fair, at Fira de Barcelona. The event will have as main spekaer Mr.Joan Majó, former Minister of Industry, Chairman of the Knowledge Circle of Catalonia and author of the book "After bottoming". He will talk about information and communication technologies and services to the people as key elements of postindustrial society.
